My work has focused on sparrows for the last year and I particularly love coming up with compositions that are filled with a jumble of sparrows all squished together, as that is what they do, you never see a single sparrow always a flock of them always shouting and quarrelling.

A technical interest of mine is how to create the print build up of multiple parts - and line of sparrows felt like a way I could create the flock I wanted but also play around with the grouping and the compassion of the print by using more or less of the plates.

Its been one of the most popular prints Ive made and I have many preorders once I revealed the final work which was nice but a lot of pressure to get the edition finished and ready for sale.

I also produce a special print combining all of the lines of sparrows exclusive for Arteria - its a massive print and very impactful in the gallery.
