Barn owl

I have always wanted to create a collection of British owl prints - I have a plan to work my way through all the indigenous owls and create a dynamic print of each. I chose a classic barn owl pose for this piece- seated on a fence post surveying the field for his prey. 

I used my cut out etching method  - I also chose to separate the post from the owl as I love the crisp embossing line that happens between the separate plates once printed.
