Collagraph workshop at WYPW
This was my first visit to WYPW (West Yorkshire Print Workshop) and what a joy it was! established for over 40 years as a hub for printmaking and artists studios it’s an absolute gem of a find in Mirfield Yorkshire, near Huddersfield.
I had been invited to come and teach a 2 day card collagraph workshop and it was a great way for me to get to know the studio and where everything was - we spent the first day looking at collagraph plates and prints and making our plates ready to spend the whole second day in the print room inking and printing - such a creative bunch and in this inspiring building we made some great work. Im now a regular visiting tutor there so I will be back in the autumn and next year for more printmaking fun.
